Turkish security forces detain 12 ISIL-linked suspects in Istanbul

Police stormed some addresses at dawn after the Public Prosecutor's Office in Istanbul issued arrest warrants for 12 suspects who were allegedly found to have links to ISIL organization.

The suspects were plotting attacks in Turkey’s largest city, security sources said.

Organizational documents and digital materials related to the group were also seized in the operation.

The suspects will be taken to court when their official procedures at the Police Department are completed. (ILKHA)
