Ankara has begun tightening its measures against Palestinian activists living in the country after its rapprochement with zionist occupation regime.

Palestinian activist Alaaddin Al Faris, who has been living in Turkey for 5 years and making a living as a peddler, will be deported by Turkish government for his pro-Palestinian activities.

Al Faris, who is married and father of three children, held many peaceful protests in Turkey to draw attention to the Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa cause.

Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding the decision, Al Faris said that his life will be at risk if he is deported from Turkey.

“I have been living in Turkey 5 years ago. I marched from Istanbul to Ankara to draw attention to the israeli persecution in Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque. In the following times, they proposed to give me Turkish citizenship, but I refused. I make a living by peddling; life is very difficult. In all cities in Turkey, especially in Istanbul and Ankara, there are Palestinian people from all walks of life. Directorate General of Migration Management sent me a deportation notice after I had held a peaceful protest at Palestinian Embassy in Ankara. If I am deported, I will be executed or poisoned. My family would be devastated,” Al Faris said. (ILKHA)
