Afghan Foreign Minister leaves for Tashkent to attend international conference on Afghanistan

A delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan led by Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi left for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on Sunday morning.

On July 25-26, Tashkent will host an international conference on Afghanistan with the participation of delegations representing more than 20 countries of the world and international organizations.

The main goal of the conference is to develop a set of measures and proposals for the approaches of the world community to promote stability, security, post-conflict reconstruction in Afghanistan and its integration into regional cooperation processes in the interests of the multinational Afghan people and the whole world, according to Afghan Foreign Ministry.
