Haneyya: Palestinian cause matter of consensus in Arab world

“Any Arab weakness affects the Palestinian people,” Haneyya told the Algerian state television, asserting that Arab consensus is a source of strength for the Palestinian people.

Haneyya expressed his appreciation to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the Algerian officials for their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, pointing out that Algeria is capable of bringing the Palestinian cause back to the top of the Arab agendas.

“Algeria is exercising quiet, discreet diplomacy and holding shuttle meetings with Arab leaders to convene an Arab summit to discuss Arab issues, particularly the Palestinian cause,” Haneyya said. 

He added that Algeria held meetings with several Arab states that are concerned about the Palestinian reconciliation, concluding that Algeria is expected to succeed in holding the Arab summit, which will be a true reflection of the Arab positions towards the Palestinian cause. (ILKHA)
