Security guard kills doctor in central Turkey

Ekrem Karakaya, a Cardiologist at Konya City Hospital, died despite all the efforts to save his life.

The security guard, who killed the doctor, also killed himself on the scene, according to local sources.

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca described the incident as “a terrifying murder”.

An investigation has been launched into the incident. (ILKHA)
