According to local sources, the military army informed the Palestinian liaison office that 20-year-old Rafiq Ghannam died of a bullet injury during clashes between its forces and local youths in the town.
Ghannam’s family said that he was seriously injured during his presence in front of his house when clashes were going on between local youths and israeli soldiers in Jaba, adding that its son was detained along with another young man immediately after he was shot.
The family accused the ZOF of cold-bloodedly shooting at Ghannam with intent to kill as he was standing outside his home, pointing out that the ZOF put him in a black bag and kidnaped him after opening fire at him.
Ghannam is considered the second martyr in Jaba town within three days after another young man called Kamel Alawneh was killed by ZOF gunfire last Sunday. (ILKHA)
