According to local sources, two young men were wounded by live bullets when the ZOF opened fire at them near al-Jalazon refugee camp in northern Ramallah.
The ZOF also kidnaped senior Hamas official Ghassan al-Zoabi and senior Islamic Jihad official Osamah al-Haroub during a campaign in Jenin.
Six other citizens were taken prisoners during ZOF raids on homes in al-Fari’ah refugee camp near Tubas City, Beit Aula town in al-Khalil, al-Fawwar refugee camp, Ramallah and Jericho.
The ZOF reportedly clashed with local youths and exchanged fire with resistance fighters during its presence in Tubas.
In east Jerusalem, the ZOF broke into and ransacked several homes in Shuafat refugee camp and kidnaped four young men.
Later in the morning, the ZOF stormed al-Deheisha refugee camp in southern Bethlehem, raided homes and buildings, and clashed with local youths.
Two young men from the camp suffered bullet injuries during the clashes with the ZOF.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, one of the wounded young men were rushed in critical condition to the Beit Jala Hospital. (ILKHA)
