Mass shooting in Harlem leaves 1 dead, 8 injured

The victims, seven men and two women, appear to have been gathered at a barbecue when they were shot out about 12:40 a.m., NYPD said.

“In Harlem now updating New Yorkers on multiple people shot early this morning near 139th Street and the Harlem River Drive. We’re asking anyone with information about this violence to call NYPD Tips at 800577TIPS,” NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewel said at the news conference. (ILKHA)
