Number of paid employees in Türkiye rises by 4% annually

While the number of paid employees was 13 million 455 thousand 901 in the same month of the previous year, it became 13 million 992 thousand 443 in April 2022.

When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased by 3.8%, in construction sector decreased by 11.2% and in trade-services sector increased by 7.4%.

Number of paid employees decreased by 0.2% monthly

Number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors decreased by 0.2% in April 2022 compared with the previous month.

When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector decreased by 0.2%, in construction sector decreased by 4.4% and in trade-services sector increased by 0.5% monthly. (ILKHA)
