One dead, 20 injured after car drives into crowded shopping area in German capital

The driver was detained at the scene after the car ploughed into a shop front along the busy shopping street Tauentzienstrasse, the Berlin Police said in a statement on Twitter.

It was not clear whether the crash was intentional, police added. (ILKHA)
