Iran building collapse death toll rises to 31

“Two more bodies were pulled from the rubble of an under-construction tower that collapsed last week,” Iran’s official IRNA news agency reported.

Search and rescue teams were continuing to clear the debris and search for more victims under the collapsed part of the building.

According to local sources, at least 150 people were inside the Metropol commercial building on the busy Amiri Street in Abadan when it collapsed on May 23.  (ILKHA)
