HÜDA PAR: Grain supply chains should be kept fully operational

“The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) warned that if the Ukrainian ports are not opened for grain exports, famine and mass migration may occur,” HÜDA PAR said.

“The number of people facing food insecurity in the world increased from 135 million to 276 million in the last two years due to the pandemic, and the recent Russia-Ukraine war put the world at risk of famine,” HÜDA PAR warned.

“The humanitarian drama is deepening in regions struggling with instability, conflict, and drought due to the supply crisis. In order to end the war between Russia and Ukraine immediately and to remove the obstacles to grain supply, international cooperation should be made and action should be taken against the exorbitant increase in food prices and the devastating effect of inflation on a global scale. An international joint fund should be established for the regions most affected by the effects of the current crisis, and economic support should be provided especially to the countries where the refugees reside.”

"Turkey's stance against NATO's double standards is very important"

In the statement, HÜDA PAR also evaluated Turkey’s approach to Sweden and Finland's NATO bids.

“Despite Turkey's opposition to Sweden and Finland joining NATO, the USA and Europe voiced their support for these two countries. Russia-Ukraine War, as desired, has evolved into a revitalization process of the ‘brain dead’ alliance in the world,” HÜDA PAR said.

HÜDA PAR continued as follows: “NATO, which has become a tool for USA policies and causes instability in many parts of the world, aims to increase the number of its members. The anti-Turkey attitude of the so-called allies in the international arena has been exposed many times until today. Today, Turkey's concerns are ignored, and it is on the opposite side.”

“Turkey's determined stance within the alliance should continue against the destructions carried out in Islamic lands by NATO, and Turkey should raise its voice not only for its national interests but also for the stability of the Ummah and humanity. Unfortunately, NATO's dirty policies that have caused the death of millions of innocents in Islamic lands, especially in Afghanistan and Iraq, have not been resisted. Turkey's stance in the face of NATO's double-standard policies is very important. It is Turkey's responsibility to the whole world to use this role to protect the stability of the world, humanity, and the Islamic Ummah.” (ILKHA)
