Gunman kills one person, wounds five at church in California

“At about 120 6 p.m. this afternoon, a male suspect opened fire here at the Geneva Presbyterian Church in the City of Laguna Woods. One person is confirmed deceased at the scene four others are critical and one other victim sustained minor injuries,” Orange County Undersheriff Jeff Hallock told a news conference.

“That group of churchgoers displayed what we believe is exceptional heroism and bravery in intervening to stop the suspect. They undoubtedly prevented additional injuries and fatalities,” he added. (ILKHA)
