Local sources reported that the “zionist army is asking people if they are Christian or Muslim. If you’re Muslim you weren’t allowed in.”

The Zionist forces used stun grenades and tear gas and charged at people with horses and batons to stop them from coming to the funeral of journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh, who was assassinated by the occupation army in Jenin.

Shireen Abu Akleh was a Palestinian journalist who worked as a reporter for the Arabic-language channel Al Jazeera for 25 years, and was a household name across the Middle East for her decades of reporting the zionist brutality in the occupied Palestinian territories.

On Wednesday, Akleh was shot and killed while covering a zionist military raid on the West Bank city of Jenin. Al Jazeera, an AFP photojournalist, and the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the zionist occupation forces intentionally targeted and killed her. (ILKHA)
