UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed dies at age 73

The Ministry declared that the UAE will observe a forty-day state mourning with the flag flown at half-mast starting from Friday, and suspend work at all ministries, departments, and federal, local, and private entities for three days.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has been serving as the president of the United Arab Emirates, the Emir of Abu Dhabi and the supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces since 2004. (IKLHA)
