Jabarin stressed that any harm coming to them would be like a “declaration of war” against the Movement.
“If the occupation touched any resistance leader, especially Sheikh Salah al-Aruri, this would be treated as a declaration of war, and the resistance would respond and would not let the occupation overstep the limits,” Jabarin stated in press remarks published on Monday by Hurrya News.
“Every one of our Palestinian people is prone to get killed by this occupation state. However, we cannot be more precious than our children, youth, and women in all parts of the homeland,” he said.
The Hamas official also warned that it is delusional for the occupation state to believe that it could end the resistance through its assassination policy, affirming that the resistance would not stand idly by towards israel’s crimes in Jerusalem, Jenin, and other areas of the occupied territories, as well as towards its violations against the Palestinian prisoners in its jails.
He highlighted the Palestinian people’s right to continue their resistance to the occupation until its removal from their land.
The British newspaper, The Times, revealed on Monday that Israel had informed its allies recently that it was preparing to send assassination teams to kill Hamas leaders abroad.
According to The Times, deputy head of Hamas’s political bureau Salah al-Aruri and senior Hamas official Zaher Jabarin are on the target list of the assassination teams. (ILKHA)
