“Upon the robust infrastructure and confidence we have built in Türkiye in the past 20 years, we are advancing towards new visions and goals. We are in a period when we are mobilizing our economic potential while also boosting our political influence in the regional and global arena," Erdoğan said.

“Türkiye continues to grow stronger through investment, employment, production and exportation”

Noting that in recent years, the months of Ramadan were overshadowed by the pandemic, war, and attacks against Muslims, Erdoğan said: “During the pandemic, our mosques, tables and homes were downcast. We welcomed the Ramadan this year amid the tragic images of the war in the north. And recently, our feelings were wounded once again because of the new attacks against the sanctity of the al Aqsa Mosque in al Quds, which is our first kiblah and our third most holy city after Mecca and Medina. We have always clearly expressed to every official, every political and religious leader of israel we talked to, regardless of their level, our sensitivities with regard to the status of al Quds and the sanctity of the al Aqsa Mosque. Similarly, we have and will continue to call on the international community on all platforms, the UN, in particular, to be sensitive against the injustices and oppression against the Palestinians and to take action against these injustices. We think many states and communities in the world still have difficulty in understanding the nature of this problem centering on al Quds.”

Underlining that the geography akin to Türkiye transcends its borders, Erdoğan said: “We regard it to be a historical and civilizational responsibility of ours to stand against the oppressors and stand with the oppressed in every crisis and tragedy in our region without seeking any interest. In this regard, we display a principled approach towards all matters from Syria to Libya, from Ukraine to Palestine, and we never abandon our humanitarian and conscientious priorities.”

“Upon the robust infrastructure and confidence, we have built in Türkiye in the past 20 years, we are advancing towards new visions and goals. We are in a period when we are mobilizing our economic potential while also boosting our political influence in the regional and global arena,” Erdoğan said, also underscoring that Türkiye continues to grow stronger through investment, employment, production, and exportation.
