Many casualties reported after multiple blasts rock Afghan capital

The first blast happened near a training center while the second occurred in front of Abdul Rahim Shaheed High School in the west of Kabul when students were leaving their classes, local sources reported.

The blast near "Mumtaz" training center in the west of Kabul was due to a hand grenade in which at least five people were wounded.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed the blast near Abdul Raheem Shaheed High School, adding an investigation has started into the incident and details will be shared later.

Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said on Twitter the blasts at the Abdul Rahim Shahid high school caused casualties.

“Three different explosions at Abdul Rahim Shaheed High School in the 18th District have caused casualties among our Shia compatriots and we will share the details later,” Zadran said. (ILKHA)
