Construction cost rises by 90.27% in Turkey—statistical agency

The construction cost index increased by 90.27% annually and by 5.73% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Monday.

In February 2022, the construction cost index (CCI) increased by 5.73% compared with the previous month and increased by 90.27% compared with the same month of the previous year.

Material index increased by 7.56% and labor index increased by 0.23% compared with the previous month.

Also, material index increased by 113.27% and labor index increased by 41.38% compared with the previous year.

Building construction cost index increased by 87.91% annually and by 5.82% monthly

Building construction cost index increased by 5.82% compared with previous month and increased by 87.91% compared with the same month of the previous year.

Material index increased by 7.82% and labor index increased by 0.10% compared with the previous month.

Also, material index increased by 110.44% and labor index increased by 41.29% compared with the previous year.

Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 98.42% annually and by 5.40% monthly

Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 5.40% compared with previous month and increased by 98.42% compared with the same month of the previous year.

Material index increased by 6.74% and labor index increased by 0.74% compared with the previous month.
