The organization, which aids orphans and the needy across the World, is continuing its relief efforts in Uganda, where 2.6 million people, or 23% of the population face high levels of acute food insecurity.

Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their charitable work in the country, Ümit Ataş, a volunteer at France Orphans Hand, stated that they work to deliver the aid donated by benefactors to people in need.

“Currently, we have organized an iftar program in Uganda as part of our aid activities in the country. Our iftar programs will continue in different parts of Uganda during the month of Ramadan. There is great poverty here. Our benefactors need to know where the donations made go. The more our benefactors donate to us, the more we will help needy people and orphans. May Allah be pleased with our benefactors,” Ataş said. (ILKHA)
