Erdoğan goes to Uzbekistan for two-day visit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is paying an official visit to Uzbekistan on March 29-30 at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During his visit, Erdoğan will participate in the second meeting of Uzbekistan – Turkey Council for Strategic Cooperation at the highest level.

The agenda of the talks between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey includes issues of further developing and strengthening friendship and strategic partnership, expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

Two leaders also will discuss the issues of promoting cooperation projects in trade, investment, innovation, industry, logistics, tourism, and other sectors of the economy, as well as the continuation of the active implementation of the cultural-humanitarian exchange program.

Views will be exchanged regarding regional and international issues as well as bilateral relations during the talks.

It is also on the agenda that various documents and agreements, which will significantly contribute to the contractual basis of the Türkiye-Uzbekistan relations, be signed on the occasion of the Council Meeting. (ILKHA)
