“On the morning of 28 March 2022, a mine was detected in the Igneada offshore, near the Bulgarian border, and the Underwater Defense Teams (SAS) in the region were quickly transferred to the site,” the Ministry tweeted.
“The object was secured by the SAS team and intervention was initiated to neutralize it,” the Ministry added.
Last week, Russia’s main intelligence agency said that several mines had drifted out to sea after breaking off from cables near Ukrainian ports. (ILKHA)
