Manufacturing increased by 106.02% annually
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 112.24% for mining and quarrying, by 106.02% for manufacturing compared with the previous year.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 124.67% for intermediate goods, by 94.65% for durable consumer goods, by 86.43% for non-durable consumer goods, by 203.41% for energy, by 88.52% for capital goods, annually.
Manufacturing increased by 2.32% monthly
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 3.99% for mining and quarrying, increased by 2.32% for manufacturing compared with the previous month.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 2.67% for intermediate goods, by 1.70% for durable consumer goods, by 1.90% for non-durable consumer goods, by 11.69% for energy, by 1.54% for capital goods, monthly.
Compared to general ND-PPI, lower annual change observed in 17 subdivisions while 8 subdivisions were higher
The lowest rates of annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for wearing apparel by 70.32%, for printing and recording services by 74.81%, for leather and related products by 80.17%. On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for coke and refined petroleum products by 203.41%, for basic metals by 148.50%, for metal ores by 129.34%.
Compared to general ND-PPI, lower monthly change observed in 13 subdivisions while 12 subdivisions were higher
The lowest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for tobacco products by 0.02%, for computer, electronic and optical products by 0.62%, for other transport equipment by 0.69%. On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for coke and refined petroleum products by 11.69%, for other manufactured products by 4.87%, for other mining and quarrying products by 4.19%.
