In his party’s weekly statement on the foreign agenda, HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu made important assessments regarding the ongoing Russia- Ukraine war and Iran’s missile attack on Erbil.

Russia-Ukraine war

Noting that the war between Russia and Ukraine is on the agenda of the country’s media, Yapıcıoğlu said: “Yes, there is a war and drama going on there. But this is not the first time. In general, there is talk about this war, where Russia was aggressive and unfair, civilians were targeted in Ukraine, and nearly 2 million people immigrated. All this is true, but it should not be forgotten that not only Russia is the aggressor.  All forms of imperialism are bad, and those who are sensitive to Ukraine are more aggressive than Russia.  Russia has attacked somewhere on average every 10 years for the last 50 years. After that, it will probably continue these attacks to expand its territory.  Let’s not forget that in the same period, US imperialism attacked more places, started more wars, and killed much more people than Russia.”

“The USA wanted this war to break out and made Ukraine a bait to Russia”

“In our opinion, the USA wanted this war to break out and made Ukraine a bait to Russia. Because the USA wanted to show closely that all European countries, which are members of NATO, are in need of it. These countries are now starting to think that the USA is an umbrella for them. He baited Ukraine because he wanted to rule out his rival Russia.  With this war, the sanctions against Russia have increased and are also testing Russia’s military power.  It was Ukraine that was affected, and as in every war, civilians were harmed in this war as well,” Yapıcıoğlu said.

Yapıcıoğlu continued his remarks as follows: “Both Ukraine and Russia say that they will bring fighters from different parts of the world and fight there. It should be noted that, especially in some Islamic countries, there is a plan to take fighters to fight there.  All Muslims and Islamic countries should be vigilant.  This war is their war, not our war.  This is a war we do not want, but we are not the ones who started this war.  There is little we can do to end this war. Let’s not forget that this war is not a war that requires us to go and die there.  I invite all responsible people to be more careful in this matter.  Every country should put obstacles to the involvement of its own citizens in the war there, including those who will fight there in exchange for money, and attention should be paid to this issue.”

Attacks in Erbil

Reminding that last night, 14 missiles attacked Erbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, Yapıcıoğlu said:

"The information about the incident has not been fully clarified yet. The only glad thing is that there was no loss of life. In the statement made by Iran, it is claimed that the Mossad facility was located in the places where the missiles fell. The Kurdistan 24 TV building close to that area was damaged due to the attack. From here, I say get well soon to K24 TV.

Iran has always had enmity with the USA and the Zionist occupation regime.  There were some conflicts from time to time.  But these conflicts never took place in the Palestinian territories occupied by the Zionist occupation regime, on the territory of the USA or Iran.  But in Baghdad, the US can target an Iranian general. The Zionist regime can target Iranian soldiers in different parts of Syria.  Iran can also target certain places in Iraq with missiles fired from its own soil.  16 March is the anniversary of the Halabja Massacre.  The Kurds suffered a lot and suffered massacres. Halabja Massacre is one of them.  It is not right to carry this hostility and war to the lands there.  After all, the war between them; It is not the war of Iraq or the Kurdistan Regional Government.  They shouldn’t take this war there.”  (ILKHA)
