Number of paid employees in Turkey rises by 6.8% annually—statistical agency

While the number of paid employees was 12 million 676 thousand 268 in the same month of the previous year, it became 13 million 536 thousand 984 in January 2022.

When sub-sectors are examined; number of paid employees in industrial sector increased by 5.4%, in construction sector increased by 0.2% and in trade-services sector increased by 9.0%.

Number of paid employees including industry, construction, trade-services sectors remained same in January 2022 compared with the previous month.
