The Palestinian health ministry announced that 14-year-old Yamen Jafal died after being shot by police forces in Abu Dis.
Local sources affirmed that Jafal was shot dead after police forces stormed the town and clashed with local youths, adding that they prevented an ambulance from reaching him.
They also said that several citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the events.
After a long wait, an ambulance managed to evacuate the teenager to a hospital in the holy city where he was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, a large number of police forces stormed in the evening at-Tur town in east Jerusalem and embarked on firing tear gas and stun grenades at local youths.
The Israeli police have intensified their presence in at-Tur town since a local young man was killed at dawn Sunday in the Old city of Jerusalem for allegedly stabbing two officers.
In a separate incident, a young man was injured by a stun grenade in his face before he was hit and wounded in his leg by an israeli military jeep in Bizzariya town, northwest of Nablus.
Local sources said the young man was wounded after zionist troops stormed the town and clashed with local youths to provide protection for Jewish settlers who rallied in the area. (ILKHA)
