According to eyewitnesses, a police officer opened fire at the young man in Bab Hitta area before he entered the Aqsa Mosque and left him to bleed to death.
According to the Hebrew media, two officers were slightly injured after a 19-year-old young man approached them in Bab Hitta at around 4:30 am, pulled out a knife and stabbed them.
Footage circulated on the internet showed a police officer trampling on the young man as he was lying on the ground.
Subsequently, the zionist occupation police intensified their presence in the area and closed the Aqsa Mosque’s gates. (ILKHA)
