Addressing AK Party’s provincial heads, President Erdoğan said: “The sun of a great and powerful Türkiye, with its rights and freedoms, security, peace, riches and wealth, will rise very soon.”

Underscoring that 2023 would be a milestone for Türkiye, President Erdoğan said: “Our people will choose between returning to the obsolete eras of the past and advancing towards a bright future in terms of democracy and development.”

“We are in a historic leap forward”

“Today, we as a country are in a historic leap forward that will enable us to become one of the top 10 economies in the world, in a radical transformation and move to rise to the highest league,” Erdoğan said.

Noting that prices had to be paid, and pain and suffering had to be endured during this process as was the case in every great transformation, Erdoğan said: “We know that our people have been experiencing difficulties due to economic fluctuations, especially high cost of living since 2018. By mobilizing all resources of the country and the state, raising the income of all segments, our employees, in particular, we have been trying to show that we stand with our people.”

“We along with our nation have come out triumphant in numerous struggles so far. We have never caused distress, but brought about peace, and will continue to do so. Rest assured that the sun of a great and powerful Türkiye, with its rights and freedoms, security, peace, riches and wealth, will rise very soon,” Erdoğan said. (ILKHA)
