Türkiye’s chicken meat production rises by 13.7% in December

Turkey meat production increased by 21.6%, number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 15.3%, chicken meat production increased by 13.7% and hen egg production decreased by 3.8% in December compared with the same month of the previous year.

Chicken meat production increased by 5.1%, number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 3.6%, hen egg production decreased by 2.5% and turkey meat production decreased by 11.9% in the January-December period compared with the same period of the previous year.

Chicken meat production increased by 4.7% in December compared with the previous month and realized as 206 thousand 677 tons.

Number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 6.9% in December compared with the previous month and realized as 115 million 739 thousand units.

Hen egg production increased by 2.9% in December compared with the previous month and realized as 1.67 billion units.

Turkey meat production increased by 26.1% in December compared with the previous month and realized as 5 thousand 677 tons. (ILKHA)
