According to local sources, the ZOF stormed the town in the afternoon and embarked on firing rubber bullets and tear gas grenades at the young men, who responded by throwing stones.

The ZOF also raided commercial stores and homes and blocked roads during its campaign in the town.

The Red Crescent said that its ambulance crews provided medical assistance for nine wounded young men during the events, adding three of them suffered from bullet injuries and five others from inhaling tear gas.

Another one suffered from a fracture when the ZOF chased him and other youths.

Earlier, israeli border police forces kidnapped a young man identified as Muaad Da’eis from the east Jerusalem town of Anata.

Two other young men were kidnaped in the evening by soldiers near the Aqsa Mosque in east Jerusalem and Beit Iksa in the west of the holy city. (ILKHA)
