In his weekly statement on the recent developments in the world, HÜDA PAR Spokesperson and Secretary-General Şehzade Demir reminded that some of the Rohingya Muslims, who sought refuge in Bangladesh after being persecuted by the fascist Myanmar administration and Buddhist gangs, were isolated from society on the island where they were settled.

Demir said: “Recently, statements have been made by the Bangladesh administration that Rohingya Muslims who took refuge in the country should be sent back to Myanmar. The military coup in Myanmar, which carried out an ethnic and religious genocide against Muslims, led to an increase in human rights violations in the region. In this case, the lives of Muslims to be sent back to Myanmar will be threatened.”

“Refugees that refugees to neighboring countries should not be abandoned to the mercy of Myanmar administration that threatens 30 thousand Rohingya Muslims in prison with persecution and threatening the most important life rights. Firstly the necessary safe environment should be established for the return of refugees. In the country, the ethnic and religious genocide against Muslims should be punished and It should be ensured that the security of Muslims should be guaranteed by returning the basic rights and freedoms of Muslims with the lands of the Muslims.” (ILKHA)
