The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said that the missiles were fired from an eastern coastal area at about 8 a.m.

North Korea has conducted four rounds of ballistic missile tests in recent weeks, defying international condemnation.

Since 2006, the country has been conducting a series of six nuclear tests at increasing levels of expertise, prompting the imposition of sanctions. (ILKHA)
