Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, who was elected as the President of HÜDA PAR in the congress held last June, started his work with a high tempo and made remarkable visits and meetings in many cities in Turkey in recent months.
Yapıcıoğlu came together with the public, tradesmen and journalists during his contacts and made important assessments on Turkey's issues.
HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu took a break from his domestic activities and came to Erbil (Hewler), the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan, where his party is represented.
Yapıcıoğlu, who visited Iraqi Kurdistan with his delegation at an intense pace, ended his contacts as of yesterday and returned to Turkey.
Yapıcıoğlu first met with KDP Chairman Mesud Barzani in Erbil as part of his contacts in Kurdistan.
The meeting, which was closed to the press, lasted about an hour.
During the meeting, Yapıcıoğlu congratulated Barzani on the success of the KDP in the Iraqi parliamentary elections.
Yapıcıoğlu also visited Bizûtnewey Islamic Chairman Sheikh İrfan Ali Abdulaziz, Kurdistan Islamic Unity Party (Yekgırtu) leader Selahaddin Muhammed Bahaeddin, Justice Community (Komala Dadgeri) Party Chairman Ali Bapir.
During these meetings, Yapıcıoğlu pointed out that the parties working for the material and spiritual development and peace of the Kurds in particular and all peoples in general should act together in unity. He talked about the problems and difficulties faced by the Kurdish people and exchanged ideas on the solution.
HUDA PAR Chairman Yapıcıoğlu, on the other hand, met with the group leaders of the parties that have groups in the Kurdistan Parliament. Yapıcıoğlu met with Kurdistan Patriotic Union (PUK) Group President Ziyad Cebar, Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Group President Zana Mela Halid, Justice Community (Komala Dadgeri) Group President Abdussettar Mecid and Islamic Unity Party (Yekgırtuyi) group.
Yapıcıoğlu also visited the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Headquarters and met with Hêmin Hawrami, Deputy Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament.
Yapıcıoğlu also participated in Erbil-based Rudaw TV and talked about his party's views on the Kurdish issue. (ILKHA)
