Hope Caravan Foundation provides food assistance to IDP in Somalia

Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı), an international help organization based in Istanbul, Turkey, has continued its charity works in Africa, distributing food parcels to internally displaced families in Mogadishu, the Somali capital.

​The foundation, which has been helping the orphans and the poor in many countries across the world, engaged in a great deal of charity works such as the construction of mosques and freshwater wells and the delivery of food, clothes, and shoes in Africa countries.

With the humanitarian assistance campaign in Mogadishu, the foundation aims to alleviate the suffering of people who were forced to leave their homes and live in IDP camps due to armed conflicts.

Speaking to Ilke News Agency, Secretary-General of the foundation Nurullah Günaydın said that they distribute food parcels in Er Rahman IDP camp where more than 1400 people struggle for survival under inhuman conditions.

Günaydın also thanked the philanthropists for their contributions to the foundation’s charitable works. (ILKHA)
