The ZOA justified its decision by claiming that Sheikh Sabri poses a threat to Israel’s security.

This measure will expire on March 29, 2022 and is considered the third consecutive travel ban against Sheikh Sabri.

Sheikh Sabri condemned the measure as “unjust and unjustified” and “a violation of the most basic human rights and the international resolutions and conventions.”

He affirmed that such decision would not prevent him from communicating with others, adding that he would use social media platforms to network and meet with others around the world.

The ZOA had already barred Sheikh Sabri from meeting or talking with several Palestinian figures in 1948 Occupied Palestine.

Because of his supportive positions on Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque, he has been summoned, arrested, interrogated by the zionist police several times before. The police also banned his entry to the Mosque many times. (ILKHA)
