Kurdistan: 8 people die, 4 injured in floods

Hundreds of vehicles were swept away in the floods, including a vehicle from civil defense forces.

The floodwaters overwhelmed a number of houses, leaving many people without a place to live.

“The flooding began at about 4 am this morning in parts of the province and that teams were occupied and need the cooperation of the public,” Erbil Governor Omid Khoshnaw said. (ILKHA)
