On its 34th founding anniversary, Hamas continues achieving successive breakthroughs and is still steadfast on its constants, he said.

Mishaal explained that Hamas possessed its legitimate struggle from its valiant resistance and gained its democratic legitimacy through elections.

Hamas is ready to contest the elections and accept its results as it has the greatest popular legitimacy in the Palestinian arena, Mishaal added.

“Through the conflict stages with the occupation, Hamas works in piercing vision according to its convictions, away from any confusion or hesitation. After 34 years of its inception, Hamas has not changed its identity, vision, or strategy.”

“To manage the conflict with the occupation, Hamas drew up a strategy based on what's available inside Palestine, in the absence of strategic allies”, the Hamas leader underlined.

“The Israeli occupation’s aggression has become useless. Any aggression launched by the occupation affects the depths of its fragile entity”, Mishaal said.

Mishaal pointed out that Hamas fighters manufactured and developed weapons capable of reaching all areas of the occupied entity.

Mishaal said that Hamas seeks to achieve reconciliation, unify the Palestinian position, and form a unified Palestinian leadership.

He explained that “Despite all circumstances, Hamas maintains its internal organizational cohesion through institutionalization and democracy by persevering in holding its internal elections and constantly holding its Shura Council”.

Mishaal stressed that “Hamas faces political difficulties that distract the region from the Palestinian cause, represented in the crises at the Arab and Islamic levels and the attempts to create new alliances with the occupation”.

“Our conviction of the imminent defeat of the occupier increases over time”, the Hamas leader concluded. (ILKHA)
