Chicken meat production decreases by 1.1% in October, TurkStat says

The number of slaughtered chicken increased by 14.5%, chicken meat production increased by 14%, turkey meat production increased by 13.1% and hen egg production decreased by 1.1% in October compared with the same month of the previous year.

Chicken meat production increased by 3.2%, the number of slaughtered chicken increased by 1.4%, hen egg production decreased by 2.2% and turkey meat production decreased by 16% in the January-October period compared with the same period of the previous year.

Chicken meat production decreased by 1.1% in October compared with the previous month and realized as 196 thousand 590 tons.

Number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 0.2% in October compared with the previous month and realized as 109 million 649 thousand units. (ILKHA)
