At least 8 people killed in suicide attack in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu

The huge explosion was heard throughout the city and videos shared on social media showed a plume of smoke billowing into the sky.

Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack, stating it has targeted convoy escorting “white officers” from Gen. Gordon military academy to Halane base.
