In a post he shared on his social media account, Altun noted that Erdoğan’s reception of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan testified to Turkey’s efforts to ensure regional peace and stability.

Pointing out that bilateral agreements signed between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Turkey in areas of trade, energy, and environment would improve our economic relations, Altun highlighted that these agreements would also further the cause of much needed cooperation, and Turkey would always be a force for stability and peace in the region.

Indicating that investment deals between the two countries’ stock markets and port administrations in addition to agreements between private companies would enhance Turkey’s economic outlook, Director of Communications Altun emphasized that improving trade ties between the two countries in the coming years would be their top priority.

Expressing that Turkey and the UAE had committed to strengthening their bilateral economic ties and taking advantage of regional cooperation opportunities, Altun noted that this would be the beginning of a new era in Turkey-Gulf relations with implications for regional stability. (ILKHA)
