The ministry condemned the ongoing israeli violations of the Aqsa Mosque, the most recent of which was allowing extremist Jewish groups to break into the holy Islamic site in large numbers during the Jewish holidays.

The official spokesman of the Jordanian foreign ministry, Haitham Abu al-Fol, condemned allowing the extremist Jewish groups to practice provocative acts in the Mosque’s compound.

He affirmed that the Aqsa Mosque with all its 144-dunum area is solely a Muslim prayer area and the Jordanian Awqaf ministry is the only authority responsible for running the affairs of the Mosque. (ILKHA)
