In Jerusalem, several noted families invited their members to continue visiting the Aqsa Mosque for prayers and social gatherings.

For its part, the Al Idrees Youth League called on all its members to rally in the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards in light of the recent settler violations.

In a related context, buses carrying Palestinian citizens from Arab areas in 1948 occupied lands, including Umm al-Fahm, will leave for the Aqsa Mosque tonight, according to Palestinian activists.

Earlier on Monday, the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem condemned the mass settler desecration of the Aqsa Mosque that escalated in recent days as “an unprecedented act of aggression.”

According to the Islamic Council, Jewish settlers defiled the Aqsa Mosque in large numbers and committed serious violations against its sanctity during the past few days at the pretext of marking religious events.

The Islamic Council also denounced the passivity of the international community and the Arab and Islamic regimes towards the israeli targeting of the Aqsa Mosque, describing their silence as “dangerous.” (ILKHA)
