Number of confirmed cornavirus cases surpasses 232 million worldwide

The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 43,675,213 cases, followed by India with 33,651,221 cases, Brazil with 21,327,616, the United Kingdom with 7,631,233 cases, and Russia with 7,398,415 cases.

About 208,7 million people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
