“The USA killed nearly 50,000 Afghan civilians in the 20-year occupation of Afghanistan and turned the country into a bundle of problems in every field. The USA, which does not account for the destruction and civilian deaths in the country, introduces the Afghanistan administration as a "terrorist organization" to the world today. The USA, which tries to dominate countries with occupation and sanctions, carries out all kinds of violations by taking advantage of silence and inaction. The USA wants to condemn Afghanistan, which it has devastated, to instability. The USA must be held accountable for the massacres it has carried out in Afghanistan and its new evil plans must not be foiled,” HÜDA PAR said.
“Crimes against humanity continue to be committed in Syria”
Drawing attention to the main reasons for international migration, HÜDA PAR went on to say:” The main reasons of the immigration and refugee problem are the lack of security, the poverty caused by the exploitation, the wars, and conflicts caused by the imperialists in the origin countries. It is obvious that there will be no permanent solution to the refugee issues as long as the system of exploitation continues.”
“One of these conflict zones is Syria. Although the decrease in intense conflicts throughout the country is a positive development, the conflicts still continue. This situation prevents millions of Syrians who have become refugees from returning. Clashes continue in the north and south of the country. The warring parties commit crimes against humanity.”
Touching upon the Assad regime's human rights violations such as arbitrary detentions, torture, and forced disappearances, HÜDA PAR said: “The Assad administration makes arbitrary detentions and tortures by violating basic human rights and people disappear in custody. That's why the economy hit rock bottom in the country. Because of all those violations, the return conditions of the refugees have not been formed yet. It is obvious that the refugees will not return to their country as long as the violations continue. The way for refugees to return to their countries in safety is to make Syria safe and livable. The UN and the countries that signed the Sochi Memorandum must fulfill their responsibilities in order for Syria to become a livable state.” (ILKHA)
