“Erdoğan will visit the United States of America on September 19-22, 2021 to attend the General Debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, and will inaugurate the new Turkevi Center building in New York on September 20,” the statement said.
“Erdoğan will deliver his address on September 21, 2021, the first day of the 76th session of the General Assembly which will be held under the theme of ‘Building Resilience through hope to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainably, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalize the United Nations.’”
He will hold bilateral talks with the Secretary-General of the United Nations as well as numerous heads of state and government during his visit, according to the statement.
He will also meet with representatives of Turkish, kin, and Muslim communities in the U.S. at a conference, titled “A Fairer World is Possible,” which will be held by the Turkish American National Steering Committee.
Erdoğan is expected to give interviews to media outlets in the U.S. and will honor the traditional gala dinner of the 11th Turkey Investment Conference, which will be held by the Turkey-U.S. Business Council with the participation of the U.S. business world. (ILKHA)
