Seasonally adjusted confidence index which was 114.8 for services in July increased by 1.2% in August to 116.1. In services sector compared to the previous month, business situation over past three months sub-index increased by 3.6% to 116.0.
Demand-turnover over past three months sub-index increased by 2.3% to 113.1 and demand-turnover expectation over next three months sub-index decreased by 2.1% to 119.3.
Retail trade confidence index realized as 110.3
Seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence index increased by 0.6% in August to 110.3. In retail trade sector compared to the previous month, business activity-sales over past three months sub-index increased by 7.9% to 121.3. Current volume of stock sub-index decreased by 1.4% to 85.7 and business activity-sales expectation over next three months sub-index decreased by 4.4% to 123.9.
Construction confidence index realized as 92.4
Seasonally adjusted construction confidence index which was 86.3 in July increased by 7.1% in August to 92.4. In the construction sector compared to the previous month, the current overall order books sub-index became 83.0 by increasing 5.4%. Total employment expectation over next three months sub-index increased by 8.5% to 101.8.
In construction sector, 47.4% of the enterprises indicated at least one factor limiting their activities while 52.6% of the enterprises indicated none in August.
Among the main factors limiting activities in the construction sector; "financial constraints" which was 26.7% in July realized as 30.5% in August, "insufficient demand" which was 19.2% in July realized as 24.6% in August and "other factors" which was 22.8% in July realized as 21.0% in August.
