Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 53,159

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 6,078,653, after 18,847 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 623 patients are in critical condition, 5,605,004 patients suffering from the disease have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.

About 80 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
