Speaking at the Turkish Youth Summit, Erdoğan said: “Societies that stand by, value, and invest in their youth look to their future with confidence. However, nations that neglect, even worse, turn their back on their youth are doomed to a dark future just like today. With this understanding, we have worked and endeavored over the past 19 years for our entire population, including the youth.”

Stating that the youth of a country is the assurance of that country and nation’s bright future, Erdoğan said: “Societies that stand by, value, and invest in their youth look to their future with confidence. However, nations that neglect, even worse, turn their back on their youth are doomed to a dark future just like today. With this understanding, we have worked and endeavored over the past 19 years for our entire population, including the youth.”

Drawing attention to the increasing number of young people in bureaucracy, politics, and decision-making mechanisms, Erdoğan noted that the Turkish youth today assume great responsibilities both at the Parliament and the Presidential Cabinet, and added: “The contribution and presence of our youth are increasingly felt in political, economic, commercial and cultural lives in Turkey.” (ILKHA)
