Turkey reports 5,229 new coronavirus cases, 37 deaths

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 5,449,464, after 5,299 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 684 patients are in critical condition, 5,319,665 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 61,891,207 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.

Meanwhile, Turkey has administered 881,755 doses of coronavirus vaccine to its citizens in the last 24 hours.  (ILKHA)
