Turkey reports 5,496 new coronavirus cases, 45 deaths

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 5,425,652, after 5,496 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 727 patients are in critical condition, 5,294,285 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 60,786,975 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
